Making Hebden Bridge a better place for all

Forthcoming public meetings of the Partnership

HEBDEN BRIDGE PARTNERSHIP - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Our Annual General Meeting (with the usual Hebden Bridge Our Town presentations invited from local groups) will held in October.  The date is Mon 23rd October, in the Waterfront Hall, HB Town Hall

Next (Last?) Management Board meeting

The next management board meeting is scheduled for Monday November 6th at 6.30pm in Hebden Bridge Town Hall.

Although the Partnership has continued to be active during 2017, particularly in relation to the access initiative and the tourism leaflet, the current board are aware that the numbers of people directly involved are now lower than they have been for many years. We will be discussing at the AGM putting the Partnership 'on ice' (turning ourselves into a dormant company), unless there is a strong desire by others to maintain it - and offers from others to become board members. We will need a new chair and a new secretary if we are to continue operating during 2018.

This meeting therefore will formally turn the Partnership into a dormant company, unless there are firm indications of a desire by others to carry things on. This will be regrettable, but all community organisations have their natural life-span, and the Partnership can look back on some very major achievements since it was first established.

Board meetings are open to all. If you are interested in coming and would like to receive the agenda, please contact us.

Hebden Bridge & Mytholmroyd Town Development Board

Calderdale Council established in early 2017 the Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd Town Development Board. Hebden Bridge Partnership is represented on this by Andrew Bibby and Anthony Rae. Hebden Bridge Community Association, the Hebden Bridge Business Forum, Mytholmroyd Regeneration, and the Mytholmroyd Business Network also have representation.

For more information, consult Calderdale's dedicated website via the link above.

The Town Board meets next on Tues 3rd October, 5pm-7pm. The venue is not yet confirmed but almost certain to be the Town Hall. Meetings are open to all.
